Keyboard & mouse controls

Every way to move the camera and work the tools. The same list rides along the bottom of the studio while you sculpt.

Shift + dragSmooth the surface without switching brushes
Ctrl + dragInvert the current brush (carve instead of build, and so on)
Right-dragOrbit the camera around the model
Ctrl + Right-dragSnap-orbit — the camera clicks to fixed angles
Middle-dragPan the view
Mouse wheelZoom in and out
Right-click the Brush / Paint toolOpen the brush picker
Ctrl + ZUndo the last stroke or action
Ctrl + Shift + ZRedo what you just undid
1 / 3 / 7Snap the camera to the Front / Right / Top view
Shift + 1 / 3 / 7Snap to the opposite view — Back / Left / Bottom
5Toggle Perspective / Ortho projection
Click a slider's numberType an exact value — Enter applies it, Escape cancels
FFit view — centre the model and fit the zoom to it
